Horse vs the Bull
“Because of an apple Eden fell and Troy was destroyed.”
― Marty Rubin
The dichotomy of word vs life.
Ongoing dispute on banning Jallikattu should bring deep introspection of where we as humanity is headed to.
Whether we want to get into a dystopian world where technology alone rules and tradition is pushed to the grave.
Or we want to get liberated into a life that is harmonious with the nature.

Father God and the state of the world
There is no denying fact that technology and science has progressed during the reign of All Father Patriarchy.
But this cannot go indefinitely for long. As you can see yourself around. What has been done to other living beings on earth and to the trees, animals, air and water.
Father God symbolize the Brain , - Rational Mind. Tree of knowledge. Knowledge divides. It is going to drive us out of paradise that is Earth.
See the painting of Michelangelo,
Compare it with the mother god of previous post,
Mother god is also symbolized by head (see the snake crown). This is tree of life. Love is the fruit of tree of life. It unites.

Periya kaandi Amman
Periya kaandi amman is the folk deity in kongunadu region. Since i could not find any picture after long search, I found this on the cover of book - Annanmar swamy by Sakthikanal. Since Ponnar Shankar's family deity is Periya kaandi Amman.
The etymology of Kaandi seems to be (PIE) kand - "to glow, to shine, to shoot out light".
So here is the goddess of light (may be consciousness)

Man and Nature - 2012
Is it really as Dennnett and Richard Dawkins says Consciousness is an Illusion? . Then really God is the biggest prank played by Christianity(equally by every other religion but they are the leaders in this), and it tried to deny humanity it's real nature - oneness with the universe.
I was quite immersed with mystical writings in various cultures, kabbalah, Sufi, Odinism, Mayans etc.
Waiting for positive changes to happen in 2012.

Lines from movies
From movie - Departed (2006)
Frank Costello: I don't want to be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me. Years ago we had the church. That was only a way of saying - we had each other. The Knights of Columbus were real head-breakers; true guineas. They took over their piece of the city. Twenty years after an Irishman couldn't get a fucking job, we had the presidency. May he rest in peace. That's what the niggers don't realize. If I got one thing against the black chappies, it's this - no one gives it to you. You have to take it.
From movie - V for Vendetta
Beneath this mask there is more than flesh. Beneath this mask there is an idea, Mr. Creedy, and ideas are bulletproof.
----
Evey : Who are you?
V: Who? Who is but the form following the function of what, and what I am is a man in a mask.
Evey : Well I can see that.
V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation, I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is.
ciao

Closing lines !!!
Reading these lines before watching the movie is not recommended.
Some lines make an everlasting impression on the viewer, here's ...
1. kamasutra - A tale of love
After her lover is killed brutally, the lead lady will walk alone on a windy path with dry leaves all in air, following lines linger
"Knowing love, I will allow all things to come and go. To be as supple as the wind, and take everything that comes with great courage. Life is right in any case. My heart is as open as the sky."
2. shawshank redemption
After the protogonist frees himself from the prison after 20 years behind bars,
Hope is a good thing. Maybe the best of things. And a good thing never dies.
3. Anbe sivam
kamal in his letter to his friend.
