Periya kaandi Amman
Periya kaandi amman is the folk deity in kongunadu region. Since i could not find any picture after long search, I found this on the cover of book - Annanmar swamy by Sakthikanal. Since Ponnar Shankar's family deity is Periya kaandi Amman.
The etymology of Kaandi seems to be (PIE) kand - "to glow, to shine, to shoot out light".
So here is the goddess of light (may be consciousness)

Hi maams... myself, mom, dad and sagar went to that temple recently. And the priest there told us the story of Periya Kaandi Amman. It was really fascinating. Expecting to share a lot about these when we meet:):)
